Happy Thanksgiving! to all. Mary Jo & I will be at the cottage in Greenville for Thanksgiving. Mary Jo went up to day and was baking rolls, 4 or 5 pies, crab salad, deviled eggs and chex mix just for starters. She loves to feed her kids! Chris & Christine, Owen and Lucy, Ben & Heidi, Carter and Cade, Kathy & Rob, Harmon and ????, and Bev Jones (Heidi's Mom) (It's her cottage after all.) will all be there. Sounds like a party to me, with more than one turkey present. Jennifer, Cale, Taylor, Chase & Cody will be at home and with Cale's Grandparents, they always get to have several celebrations, where do they get the energy? Wish you all could be with us, but we will be thinking of you. Current events are reminding us that happiness and security and a sense of purpose do not come from governments, employers, money, or the many experts who stll think they know it all, even though they are the same ones who got us where we are. Many of the things our culture tells us are important we are finding to be built on sand. On this Thanksgiving we are very thankful for the relationships that have made our lives rich indeed, and that includes all of you.
